Some thoughts on how i create my art. These will be added to.
1. To create representation of experiences as I have understood them. My understanding of an experience is constructed by the information brought along from previous, relevant experiences, my actions in that environment and the information I am able to gather as a result. I suppose that’s a given.
2. Use whatever material and processes are true to the source. Do not be reliant on motifs or fashion.
6. My works offer an opportunity to engage with an experience - something that happened to me - not an image or view.
9. Creating a work of art gives opportunity to play. To play with line, planes and colour.
48 - In the pursuit of learning everyday something is acquired.
In the pursuit of learning everyday something is dropped
Less and less is done.
Until no-action is achieved.
When nothing is done, nothing is left undone.
The world is ruled by letting things take their course.
It can not be ruled by interfering.
